Borno Youth Hail Defense Minister’s Security Efforts
The Borno Youth for Sustainable Development has commended Nigeria’s Minister of Defense, Alhaji Mohammadu Badaru Abubakar, for his tireless efforts to improve security in the North East and across the nation.
This is contained in a statement signed by the Chairman, Borno Youths for Sustainable Development Mr Salisu Usman Alhaji made available to Journalists in Maiduguri on Saturday.
The statement expressed gratitude for the minister’s dedication and urged him to continue his good work.
At an emergency meeting of the forum the group said, Badaru Abubakar has been working tirelessly to promote peace and stability in Nigeria, particularly in the North-East region.
“Since assuming office on August 22, 2023, he has emphasized the importance of cooperation and synergy among security stakeholders to address insecurity,” it said
“We are shocked at growing efforts by detractors aiming to malign and undermine great achievements of the Honourable Minister”.
The Minister is famous for improving the troops’ welfare and morale.
He urged troops of Operation HADARIN DAJI to sustain their efforts toward ensuring safety across Nigeria, acknowledging President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s commitment to their welfare and operational challenges
“The minister has succeeded at deepening Inter- agency collaboration, strengthening the multinational joint task force and eradicating corruption in our national Defense programmes.
The forum pledged to support the minister to deliver his programmes of ensuring security and peaceful coexistence in Nigeria as mandated by President Bola Ahmed Tinibu.
