House of assembly aspirant for BOGORO distributes empowerment items to constituents

An aspirant for the post of house of assembly in Bauchi state under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Mr Philip Bulus has distributed empowerment items worth over N2 million to the people of his constituency Bogoro local government area.

Our Corresspondent gathered that the items distributed include fridges, sawing machines, processing machines for groundnut, motorcycles and cash to the beneficiaries.

Speaking to newsmen in his home town Dinki during the weekend, the house of assembly aspirant said the gesture was meant to help the beneficiaries set up businesses considering the current economic situation in the country.

Hon Bulus who is also a philanthropist maintained that the gesture will help in ameliorating their suffering and boost the source of their income.

Popularly known as Garkuwan Matasan Arewacin Nigeria and Madakin Lagos, the aspirant under the platform of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) urged the beneficiaries to make good use of the items by engaging themselves into vocational skill aquasation to become self reliant.

Hon Bulus urged the people of Bogoro to actively partake in the ongoing online registration of voters by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in order to obtain Permanent Voters Cards (PVCs) to qualify them vote for candidate of their choices come 2023.

Also speaking, Mr John Jonathan said this was not the first time the aspirant is assisting and helping people in Bogoro local government area.

He promised that the beneficiaries and the entire people of Bogoro will continue to support him in order to achieve his dream.

Responding, one of the beneficiaries, Mrs Magaret Joro, thanked Hon Bulus for the gesture, prayed God to bless him abundantly, continue to protect him and give him what he want in Life

Mrs Joro while describing the gesture as very helpful to them, promised to make good use of it.
