Saudi Supreme court urges Muslims to search for Crescent Shawwal moon Saturday evening

The supreme court of Saudi Arabia has urged Muslims and residents of Makka to start searching for the crescent moon of Shawwal on Saturday evening, the 29th Ramadan 1443AH which is equivalent to 30th April, 2022.
This according to the Saudi authorities, is to allow muslims to commemorate this year’s Sallah festival.
According to Haramain sharifain, this directive was given by the supreme court of the Saudi Arabia to look for the new 10th moon and report to their nearest court to enable Muslims celebrate the Eidil-Fitr day which marks the end of the month of Ramadan after one month period of fasting.
