Former SSG, Nadada appointed Bauchi APC Gubernatorial candidate’s campaign DG

The former Secretary to the Bauchi state Government (SSG), Alhaji Muhammad Umar Nadada has been appointed as the campaign Director General (DG) to the APC Governorship candidate, Ambassador Sadique Baba Abubakar ahead of the 2023 general elections.

The appointment of
Alh. Muhammad Umar Nadada who holds the traditional title of Zannan Misau was contained in a letter dated 7th November, 2022.

Personally signed by the Governorship candidate of the party, Ambassador Sadique Baba Abubakar, the letter noted that the appointment takes
immediate effect.

“It is with gratitude to Allah (SWT) that I write to convey my endorsement of
your appointment as the DIRECTOR GENERAL of our campaign in the
upcoming 2023 Gubernatorial election in Bauchi State”, the letter read in parts.

It explained that the decision to appoint the former SSG was informed by the gubernatorial candidate of party’s conviction that he has the capacity to deliver after having consulted widely.

“Your pedigree, scholarship and character were
highly attested to”, the letter said.

According to the appointment letter, Nadada has garnered experiences from his early and later sojourns in both public and private sectors.

The governorship candidate of the APC recalled that Muhammad Umar Nadada has held positions of high
responsibilities.

“Also, in politics you have on many occasions been appointed as a Secretary to the State Government”, the letter added.

It said that the campaign DG was also a Party standard Gubernatorial
flag bearer in Bauchi State.

“All these qualities and experiences must certainly tower above other additional requirements that may come with the job, you are no doubt more than fit to take the assignment head-on and we are expecting the
best from you”, the gubernatorial candidate said.

Ambassador Sadique Baba Abubakar while congratulating the former SSG, prayed God to guide him as he shoulder the trust bestowed on him.
