Primary: Bauchi PDP returns Auwal Hassan Yana as Shira Constituency candidate.

As Aspirant for Member to represent Shira constituency in the Bauchi State House of Assembly, under the platform of People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Auwal has promised to provide more dividends of democracy to the good people of his constituency.
Auwal Hassan Yana made the declaration when he was declared winner of the just concluded primary election for the State House Assembly.
Auwal Hassan Yana who scored all the eighteen votes of the delegates is to contest for state house of assembly member to represent Shira Constituency for the third term in the Bauchi State House of Assembly.
According him ” I was delighted today for this victory. I thank all the party delegates and well wishers for the support and prayers given to me. I am also praying to Almighty Allah to give me courage and wisdom to justify the confidence repost on me”.
Auwal Hassan Yana who served two terms consecutively in the state Assembly from 2011 – 2015 said he will continued to present more bills that will help in the development of the constituency.
” In the eighth assembly, I presented some bills with regards to gender based violence and other related issues, and I will continued to follow up some bills so that amendment will be made to suit demands of not only Shira but Bauchi State in general”.
” If elected as a member representing Shira Constituency in the Bauchi state house of assembly I will In sha Allah come up with programs that will provide more agricultural inputs to farmers like I did during my previous stay in office to boost agricultural activities in the constituency”.
Auwal Hassan Yana also said “I am also promising you that if elected, we will explore more job opportunities to ensure that youths from our constituency got employed considering the fact that all this forms of insecurity is connected to unemployment”.
He therefore urged all his supporters as well as all the good people of Shira local government to continue to give their support to the present PDP-led administration in order to win the forth-coming general election with a view to bring and enjoy more dividends of democracy.
