Senator Abdul Ningi emerged PDP Senatorial candidate for Bauchi central Zone

An aspirant for Bauchi Central Senatorial District, Senator Abdul Ahmad Ningi has been declared the winner of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) primary election which took place in Darazo on Monday.
Mohammed Idris, Magayaikin Miya while announcing the results of the election, said Senator Ningi won the primary election from the six LGs of Dambam, Misau, Ningi, Warji, Darazo and Ganjuwa that constitute the Bauchi Central Senatorial district.
According to him, Senator Abdul Ahmad Ningi won all the total number of 193 valid votes cast to emerge the candidate of the party for the coming 2023 general elections.
He charged the winner of the primary election to if voted in 2023, work towards resuscitating the economy of the country.
Addressing the gathering, Senator Abdul Ahmad Ningi while thanking God for seeing them through the primary election, commended Governor Bala Mohammed and the leadership of the PDP in the state creating the enabling environment for success of the exercise.
Senator Ningi who also expressed gratitude to the entire people of Bauchi central senatorial zone, pointed out that the unity of the people of the zone is 100 percent.
The Senatorial candidate who also called on the opposition All Progressive Congress (APC) in the zone to also unite for the progress of Bauchi central senatorial district, maintained that it is well known fact that the zone has been left behind.
He however expressed gratitude to Governor Bala Mohammed led administration for working tirelessly to bridged the infrastructural deficit in the zone, praying that more would be done.
Senator Ningi who educated the youths on the rigours of politics, said one has to be consistent in pursuing his ambition regardless of whether he wins or not, adding whoever has never contested election and lost, he has a lot to learn about politics.
“For those of you, the youths who are into politics, who feels they know, no, that’s not how politics is, in politics you have to join it for some time before you contest, and if you contest and win, you will one day contest and lose, anybody who has never contested for elective office and win and lost, he has a long way to go in politics”, he said.
Senator Abdul Ningi who warned party members against anti-party activities, said in the whole Bauchi state, the central senatorial district is the stronghold of the PDP, advising the party members to put behind them anything capable of undermining the success of the PDP in the 2023 general elections.
In a vote of thanks, the Speaker of the Bauchi state house of assembly, Rt. Hon Sulaiman Abubakar, commended the delegates for exercising their constitutional obligations.
The speaker who called for unity among the party members, expressed optimisms that PDP will succeed in all its aspiration from state assembly to Presidency in 2023.
