APC members drums support for Bauchi North senatorial candidate, Alhaji Sirajo

Some staunch members of the All Progressive Congress (APC) and supporters of Bauchi North senatorial candidate, Alhaji Ibrahim Sirajo Tanko have called on the people of the area to elect their preferred candidate as Senator in the forthcoming 2023 general elections.

Speaking to our Corresspondent on Wednesday, one of the supporters of Alhaji Sirajo, Comrade Farouq said that the Senatorial candidate under the APC possesses all the qualities needed to represent Bauchi Northern Senatorial district effectively.

The Senatorial candidate supporter while expressing gratitude to Allah for giving Alhaji Sirajo victory at the party primaries, also thanked the entire party faithfuls in the district for reposing confidence in Alhaji Sirajo to fly the ticket of the party in 2023.

While assuring that, Alhaji Sirajo will lead the APC to victory, Comrade Farouq urged all and sundry to support his Senatorial ambition for purposeful and results oriented representation at the national assembly.

“And for those that couldn’t win the primaries, it doesn’t mean that they are not capable, no, they are capable and qualified, but it is the will of Allah that Alhaji Sirajo emerged the candidate”, he said.

Comrade Farouq called on the co-contestants to join hands together and support Alhaji Sirajo to succeed in his bid to win the seat for the APC.

“I am appealing to them to consider the interest of the party before any other thing and give support to Alhaji Sirajo to win the general election. His victory at the just concluded primary election is a victory for all”, he said.

On his part, Dahiru Magaji, while felicitating with Alhaji Sirajo over his victory at the primary election, commended the delegates for making a good choice.

“Since I ventured into politics, I have never seen a politician with such wider acceptability like Alhaji Sirajo, he is loved by almost everybody, and that’s the kind of people that the society need”, Dahiru Magaji said.

He expressed believe that some delegates were even influenced by their wives to vote for Sirajo as the Senatorial candidate perhaps due to his effort in empowering women and youth in the Senatorial district.

“I think some of the delegates were influenced by their wives to vote for him because he has empowered many of them. Many women, including the youth have become self reliant. Alhaji Sirajo has also facilitated a lot of job opportunities for the youth”, he said.

According, to him, “they felt since he has done so much for the youth and women while outside politics, how much more would he have done if he were a Senator? Now they want to test him to see his capacity as a representative at the Senate. So, I am calling on our people to vote for him come 2023”, Comrade Magaji pleaded.

Also speaking, Nuru Usman prayed Allah to grant the candidate success in the 2023 general elections in order to bring the needed in the way and manner the area is been represented.
