NNPP suspense Bauchi acting chairman over gross indiscipline, disrespect to leadership

The New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) has suspended its Acting Chairman in Bauchi state, Alhaji Sani Shehu (Sanin Malam) over what it termed “gross indiscipline and disrespect to the leadership of the party”.

The suspension letter which was made available to our Corresspondent on Thursday had the signature of the Zonal Secretary Northeast of the party, Dr. Babayo Liman.

Dated 13th July, 2022, the letter warned Alhaji Sani Shehu to stop parading himself as the acting chairman of the party in Bauchi state, pending the outcome of the National Executive Council decision in respect of the allegations levelled against him.

“I am directed to write and suspend you from the Ag. Chairman of New Nigeria people’s party, in Bauchi State”, parts of the letter read.

“Your actions for not collecting the query issued to you on the 6th July, 2022 has
been categorized as a gross indiscipline and disrespect to the leadership of the party”, the letter explained.

“Copy of this letter will be sent to all relevant authorities for their information and further necessary action”, the NNPP said.

It noted that a Caretaker Chairman will soon be announce to carry on the activities of the NNPP Office in Bauchi State.
