Aminu Saleh college of education Azare reopens next week Monday

The management of Aminu Saleh college of education Azare, Bauchi state has announced that academic activities would commence with immediate effect.

A circular from the office of the Registrar of the institution said that the decision to reopen the college followed the suspension of the nationwide strike by Colleges of Education Academic Staff Union (COEASU) on Wednesday 10th August, 2022.

“I am directed to write and inform all staff and students that the management at its emergency meeting held on Thursday 11th August, 2022, approved the re-opening of
the college portal for the continuation of second semester registration of the Students for the 2021/2022 academic session with immediate effect”, Suleiman Shehu who signed the circular on behalf of the Acting Registrar of the college said.

“Consequent upon this, you are to note that the registration and other academic activities will commence effective from Monday 15th August, 2022 while lectures will start
immediately after one week of the commencement of the registration”, the circular further explained.

It directed all the staff and the students to take note of the good development and ensure full compliance.

The circular dated Thursday 11th August, 2022 was also copied to Principal Officers, Deans & Directors, Sectional & Unit Heads, HODs, Prog.
Coordinators, Chairmen Staff Unions, SUG President as well as pasted on notice boards within the college.
