Bauchi Gov Pledges More Collaboration With Devt Partners

Bauchi State Governor Senator Bala Mohammed Abdulƙadir has expressed his administration’s commitment towards continued collaboration with development partners in oder to improve the life of the citizens.

The Governor made the remark when the received the Joint UNICEF/Global Affairs Canada Mission to Bauchi State on a courtesy visit in the government house.

Muhammad said collaboration with the Global affairs Canada and UNICEF, their projects has impacted positivity aimed at promoting sustainable growth and poverty eradication.

He added that the project has also engaged over 16,000 youths and women into small scale business and agriculture in the state, while commending the development partners for their efforts in eradicating maternal mortality through its livelihood program.

Muhammad therefore promised to initiate more policies and programs that will meet the expectations of the development partners.

Earlier in her address, the counsellor and head of development corporation Global affairs Canada, Djippa Ahadou commended the state governor for his commitment towards giving priority to the areas of healthcare and economic wellbeing of the citizens.

Ahadou pledged to sustain the Global affairs Canada project in the state to impact positively in the lives of the people.
