SAZUG Outgoing VC’s wife praises husband, says ‘you made us proud’

Hajiya Hadiza Awwalu Uba, the wife of the outgoing Vice Chancellor of the Sa’adu Zungur University Gadau (SAZUG), Prof. Auwalu Uba has described the contribution of her husband to the institution as commendable and a legacy worthy of emulation.
Hajiya Hadiza said Professor Uba has exhibited high sense of transformational leadership within his five-year tenure in the university as Vice Chancellor, an effort that made it a centre of excellence in Bauchi State.
She maintained that the VC’s abiding principle was to deliver quality service in all his endeavours in all services for human development.
“Because all his life, his abiding principle is to deliver quality service in all his endeavours either in the academia, family, management responsibilities, community service etc”, she said.
The outgoing VC’s wife said, “on behalf of our family, I say hearty congratulations for a successful tenure to a loving husband and a wonderful father, an icon, a giant in academia per excellence”.
“I always knew you could do it and you have done it. Well done, we are indeed super proud of your outstanding achievements over the last 5 years”, she further pointed out.
“The path to greatness won’t always be easy, the journey to anything worthwhile will always come with sacrifices and obstacles”, the outgoing VC’s wife said.
She maintained that the outgoing VC has left indelible footprints in SAZUG’s history.
“You have left your indelible footprints in the sands of time at SAZUG. You have not only delivered quality infrastructure and academic programs to the university, but you have also positively touched the lives of the staff, students and the community at large. We are so proud of you”, she added.
“I look back at our life together with nothing but joy and happiness. You have worked so hard and always followed the path of honesty and integrity”, Mrs Uba stated.
Hajiya Hadiza thanked the management, staff and students of SAZUG for all the support they accorded him to attain what he achieved, praying Allah to help the incoming VC the ability discharge her responsibilities effectively.
