I donated March Salary to Bauchi Gov’t in appreciation to Gov Bala’s performance – Adamu Circular

A Civil servant in Bauchi state, Halliru Adamu Circular has disclosed that he recently donated his March Salary to the Bauchi state government in appreciation to Governor Bala Mohammed’s outstanding performance within the scope of four years.
Adamu Circular who made this known in an exclusive interview with our Corresspondent on Thursday, said there are so many reasons that prompted him to donate his one month salary.
He said that the gesture was done in fulfilment of what has been in his mine for long.
According to him, “I have been thinking about what I should do to reciprocate his good leadership style, good governance and the developmental projects and Programmes he has executed across the state”.
Adamu Circular who further recalled that Governor Bala Mohammed performed creditably well when he served as FCT minister in Abuja, said that the Governor has maintained similar achievements as Governor of Bauchi state in the last four years.
He said that the Governor who assumed office when the economy of the country was not favorable, did everything possible to run the state with the little income accrued to Bauchi judiciously.
The Civil servant noted that he didn’t donate his salary with an intention of getting any reward from the Governor.
“I didn’t do it with an intention of getting something from anybody, I did it out of love, passion and appreciation for what he has done to the entire people of Bauchi state”, Adamu Circular said.
“Honestly speaking, Governor Bala Mohammed has done what his predecessors have not done considering the time frame within which he recorded such tremendous successes”, he added.
According to him, the laudable road projects executed by the Governor that includes, Ibrahim Bako-Turun, NITEL road, Wunti street to Bayan Bata, the over sixty kilometers Burga to Yalwan Duguri road, Sabon Kaura to Miri, among others has no doubt, eased transportation problems and opened up so many towns and villages to the rest of the Communities.
“I feel that I have to donate my March Salary to the Government in appreciation to what the Governor has done to us within the shortest period of time since I don’t have any other way to show my appreciation to him”, Adamu Circular further explained.
The Civil servant said that he donated the money so that it can be use in further executing other developmental projects to enable more people to benefit from the Governor’s dividends of democracy.
Adamu Circular who said that he did not seek advice from anyone before donating his salary, added that even his wife got to know about it at the time he was about to hand over the money to the governor.
He said that the Governor having touched by the donation, has given him Hajj slot which he has since filled and submitted form to the Hajji officials for further action.
Adamu Circular who advised the people of Bauchi state to ensure continued support to Governor Bala Mohammed led administration, commended the Governor for carrying the civil servants along in his people oriented Programmes.
