Ex-Bauchi APC Guber aspirant tasks Bala on doing more to consolidate on his achievements

As Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi state gets set for his second tenure inauguration on 29 May, 2023, former Governorship aspirant under the All Progressives Congress (APC), Alhaji Sani Al’ameen Muhammad has advised him to do more in order to consolidate on the successes recorded in his first tenure.
Alhaji Sani Al’ameen Muhammad who gave the advice while speaking to newsmen on Friday, opined that the Governor should pay attention to areas that are challenging to enable him fulfill his quest of improving the well-being of Bauchi citizens.
While stating that Governor Bala Mohammed has done a lot for the state, the APC chieftain acknowledged that many developmental projects and Programmes have so far been executed to the benefit of the people of Bauchi state.
He however, said more need to be done by the governor in the areas of Education, Health care and civil service as he takes oath of office for his second tenure.
Alhaji Sani Al’ameen Muhammad expressed gratitude to the people of Bauchi for renewing the tenure of the Governor which he said is in the best interest of the State.
According to him, the first tenure of Bala Mohammed has laid the right foundation for building a Stronger and more prosperous Bauchi state.
He explained that the second term election victory of the Governor has given him the opportunity for consolidate on his successes, ensure rapid growth, investment and economic reform.
He advised the Governor to carry the youth, elders and women along in all the policies and Programmes of his administration.
Alhaji Sani Al’ameen further urged the Governor to deploy more of his wisdom and recruit more medical doctors and health personnel such as Nurses, ear specialists, dentists, gynecologists, among others.
“He should also clear the issue of backlog of pensions, and solve the little issue of paying workers salaries, gratuities, wages, leave grant and promotions”, the APC Chieftain added.
He further called on the Governor to review government policies on education for the development of the state.
“He should declare war against desert encroachment, by encouraging Bauchi citizens to plant trees, stop felling of trees. The Governor should do this because I know his goal remains to make life richer, better, and more fulfilling for all citizens of the State”, he said.
Alhaji Sani Al’ameen Muhammad urged the Governor to ensure that priorities of the government is communicated in order to achieve the goals and outcomes of government policies and programmes.
Al’ameen commended the governor for tolerating his opponents during and after the rigorous election campaigns.
He further commended Governor Bala Mohammed for extending olive branch to his opponents to come forward with genuine ideas and advices that could help his administration in moving Bauchi forward.
The former APC Governorship aspirant who also advised the governor to be wary of praise singers, self centered people, said such people only want to achieve what they want.
Alhaji Sani Al’ameen Muhammad said Governor Bala need to focus on how to improve the well-being of the people of Bauchi state instead of paying undue attention to praise singers.
He explained that his support for the Governor despite being an APC member is due to the interest he has in Bauchi project.
“The Governor is doing everything to move the state forward and to keep it intact. He has changed the narratives of Bauchi state”, Alhaji Sani Al’ameen Muhammad said.
