Adamawa Gov Fintiri signs over N200 billion 2024 Appropriation Bill into law

Adamawa state governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has sign into law, the appropriation bill for 2024 fiscal year.
The bill which was tagged “Budget of Reengineering”, was assented to by the governor at the Council Chamber of Dougirei Government House Yola Friday.
The Governor while assenting to the N225.89 billion appropriation bill as passed by the Adamawa State House of Assembly in December 8 expressed optimisms that the Budget will hit the ground running.
The budget estimate provides for deployment of one billion Naira in each of the 21 LGAs of the state to account for infrastructure development initiative.
Governor Fintiri said he was excited for the positive impact the 2024 budget will have on the good people of Adamawa state in terms of development.
Government officials present during the budget signing ceremony include the Deputy Governor of the state, Prof. Kaletapwa Farauta, Speaker of the Adamawa State House of Assembly, Hon. Bathiya Wesley, House of Assembly members, and some members of the state executive council.
