Adamawa Government commences construction Model Schools

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State said his administration will construct Model Basic Education schools across the 21 local government areas of the state to increase accessibility to quality education.
The governor stated this at Girei LGA when he flagged-off the construction of the Model Basic Education schools on Thursday.
Fintiri explains that each of the 21 LGAs of Adamawa State will benefit from the project to expand the sector both in terms of number and quality in order to address the challenges of out-of-school children.
“Excited to kick off the construction of 21 Model Basic Education Schools across all 21 Local Governments in Adamawa State! The symbolic groundbreaking ceremony was at Girie LG, this milestone project, worth ₦14.99B, reflects our commitment to quality education and addressing the challenge of out-of-school children”, the governor noted.
Fintiri expressed optimisms that the initiative, totaling ₦14,993,496,288.47, will underscore his commitment to quality education and development in the state.
The flag-off ceremony was graced by top government functionaries as well as community leaders.
