Ahmed Maikudi wins Chiroma constituency APC primary election

An All Progressive Congress (APC) aspirant for the seat of member representing Chiroma constituency in the Bauchi state assembly Maikudi Yahya has won the party’s primary election to emerge its candidate for the 2023 general election.

Our Correspondent gathered that the primary election was conducted peacefully.

Announcing the results, the chairman Committee for the election Mal Musa, said that the total votes cast was 20, out of which Maikudi Yahya scored 12 to emerge the winner.

According to him, Maiwada Bakoji polled six votes while Lele suleman Mohammed scored two, whereas Yakubu Yarima got 0 vote.

The Misau LG Chairman of the party, Alhaji Ahmed Maigari who congratulated the winner, called on the other contestants to join hands with him to enable the APC win Chiroma constituency in the 2023 general election.
