Amina Muhammad wins, as Qur’anic recitation competition for female students rounds up in Bauchi

Amina Muhammad from Bauchi South senatorial district has won the quranic recitation competition in 60 Hizif to represent the state in Nasarawa state.
Our Corresspondent gathered that the quranic recitation competition was organized by Nana Asmau Foundation in collaboration with Initiative for Muslim Women of Nigeria (IMWON) Bauchi state chapter for female students of Secondary Schools in Nigeria.
Announcing the result of the competition, the Chief Judge, Goni Umar Ahmad Yusuf said Amina Mohammad got 98.6 point on sixty hizf with Tajwid to emerge the winner.
Goni Umar Ahmad Yusuf also said Amina Mohammad will represent Bauchi state in 60 Hizf quranic competition in Nasarawa under Nana Asmau Bintu usman Bin Fodiyo Education Foundation.
Also speaking, the Amira of the initiative Bauchi state, Hajiya Hindatu Muhammad Adam charged parents to be dedicated towards their children’s Quranic education.
Highlight of the occasion include the recitation of the holy qur’an, presentation of gifts to those who excelled at various levels, among others.
