APC house of Reps aspirant for Katagum federal constituency, Dr. Umar Attah felicitates with supporters on Eid-il-Fitr, Sallah durbar

The house of representatives aspirant for Katagum federal constituency in Bauchi state, Dr. Umar Attah has felicitated with the Muslim faithfuls worldwide over the successful completion of this year’s Ramadan fasting and the Eid-il-Fitr celebration.

Dr. Attah who was speaking to Baushe Times on Tuesday, expressed gratitude to Allah for seeing to the peaceful and successful conduct of the religious obligation.

While thanking the entire people of his constituency for praying for peace, the house of representatives aspirant, expressed gratitude to Allah that both the Ramadan fasting and Eid-il-Fitr celebration were a hitch-free exercise.

“I want to appeal to Nigerians, particularly the people of Bauchi state to continue to pray for our country and to also persevere”, he said.

Dr. Attah added: “the people of Katagum federal constituency should continue to pray as we struggle to represent them in a more transparent way in 2023. I have a lot of agendas for them, I want to help them and I believe come 2023, they will vote for me”.

Dr. Umar Attah who said he has worked as a civil servant for 25 years before retiring to aspire for the position, noted that he is doing it out of his resolve and zeal to help the masses.

“It is against this backdrop that I am calling on the people of Katagum federal constituency to support and pray for me to succeed. If voted in 2023, I assure them that they will witness positive impact of democracy in their lives”, he said.

On the coming party primaries, Dr. Attah who said his party, the APC has always ensured justice and fairness, appealed for its sustainability so that only credible, competent and reliable candidates will emerge as flagbearers ahead of the 2023 general elections.

He also called on those who have not registered for their PVCs to do so in order not to be disenfranchised during elections.
