ATAP RECTOR URGES OUTGOING SUG OFFICIALS TO BE GOOD AMBASSADORS

The Rector of the Abubakar Tatari Ali Polytechnic (ATAP) Bauchi, Dr. Alh. Adamu Saidu has urged the outgoing members of the Students’ Union Government (SUG) to be good ambassadors of the Institution where ever they find themselves.
Dr. Alhaji Adamu Saidu made the call when he received 2021/2022 officials of the SUG of the Polytechnic who paid him a thank you visit in his office on Monday.
The Rector while welcoming the outgoing SUG members, commended them for exhibiting high sense of maturity throughout their stay as representatives of their fellow students.
Dr. Adamu prayed Allah to reward them abundantly and wish them success in their present and future endeavors.
The Rector further reiterated his continues support to the students both in group and as individuals, urging them to always be the good ambassadors of the polytechnic any where they find themselves.
According to him, whatever the outgoing students do is going to be a reflection of the Polytechnic where they studied.
He therefore, cautioned them against involving in any act of criminality to further safeguard their better future.
“I urge you all to be Good ambassadors of this great institution anywhere you go, and equally avoid any act of criminality in all ramifications”, he warned.
The Rector wished the outgoing SUG officials all the best in their present and future endeavors.
Earlier On their parts , the outgoing vice President, Faisal Sunusi Muhammad and the Public Relation officer of the Union, Comrade Abubakar Muhammadu, expressed gratitude to Allah for sparing their lives to witness the end of their academic journey in the Institution.
The lauded the unflinching support accorded them by the Rector both physically, financially and morally, promising to be good ambassadors of the Polytechnic where ever they go.
Leading the Executives and members of the Union to the office of the Rector, the outgoing President, Comrade Abdullahi Umar Danmaigoro explained that the aim of the farewell visit was to seek for the scholarly and fatherly blessings of the Rector as well as to thank him for his advice and indefatigable efforts to the outgoing Comrades throughout their one year service in various offices and capacities.
Highlight of the occasion was group photograph with the Rector, Registrar Abdullah Alh. Adamu and the outgone SUG Excos and members which symbolised the end of their tenure.
