Bala Commissions Model Primary School, PHC in Dambam LG

Bauchi state Governor Bala Mohammed has Commissioned a newly constructed model primary school as well as Primary Health Center (PHC) in Dambam local government area of the state.
The Governor while commissioning the school on Friday, noted that similar facilities were made available in Giade and Alkaleri local governments of the state.
Governor Bala Mohammed said Dagauda Community was chosen for the project considering its distance from the State capital and limited access to quality education and healthcare services.
According to him, the Model Primary School Project comprises 26 classrooms, ICT facilities, Administrative Block and Staff Quarters.
He said that the 20 bed capacity Primary Health Center (PHC) was equiped with State of the Art Medical facilities for effective service delivery.
The Governor charged the benefiting community and the Caretaker Committee Chairman of the Local Government to protect the facilities provided for the benefit of future generation.
Bala Mohammed who in Dambam for his continued local government campaign tour, solicited for votes to enable him actualize his second term bid.
While addressing thousands of party supporters at Dambam Central Primary School, Governor Bala reiterated his commitment to do more if re-elected.
The project, our Corresspondent gathered, has three Major components to include Model Primary School, Primary Healthcare Center (PHC), Water Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH).
The project is in partnership with the state, Federal Government and supported by African Development Bank ( AFDB).
Governor Bala Mohammed had before going to the campaign venue, visited the District Head of Dagauda, Alhaji Mohammmed Alkali where he solicited for his fatherly advise and prayers.
Responding, the District Head, Alhaji Mohammed Alkali commended the Governor for sitting the Model Primary School, Primary Health Care (PHC) and Water Sanitation Facilities within his domain.
According to him, Dagauda community are overwhelmed with such facilities, adding that the projects would go along way in uplifting the standard of living of his subjects.
