Bauchi CSC sacks security guard over misconduct, okays 21 senior officers for directorship

A security guard under the payroll of Bauchi state government has been sacked by the State Civil Service Commission (CSC).
According to a press release made available to our Corresspondent by the Information Officer of the CSC on Tuesday, the security guard, Sanusi Ibrahim (Head Security Guard) had his appointment terminated over serious misconduct.
The information officer, Saleh Umar said that the offense of the security guard is contrary to the provision of the Public Service Regulations 0327 (a) (i) – (xxix).
He explained that Sanusi Ibrahim was found guilty after thorough investigation and has admitted to his culpability before the relevant Committee in the Office of the Head of Civil Service which recommendation the Commission upheld at its meeting held on 06th February, 2024.
The information officer recalled that the meeting was chaired by Alh. Abubakar Usman IION Madakin Bunun Bauchi.
He said during the same meeting 1 case of promotion, 1 change of name were considered while 21 senior Officers from the rank of Deputy Directors were interviewed and recommended for appointment as Directors in the State Civil Service.
