Bauchi Gov Bags Excellence Award In Rural Development

The Bauchi state governor, Bala Mohammed will receive award for excellence performance in Rural Development from TBS Media in collaboration with the office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) on Friday.

According to statement issued by media aide to Bauchi state governor, Mukhtar Gidado and made available to journalists in Bauchi on Thursday, said that the award came as a result of the governor’s efforts to develop urban and rural areas in the state.

According him, the award will be presented to the Governor by President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday, 21st October, 2022 during the Nigeria Excellence Awards in Public Service (NEAPS) ceremony at the Conference Centre of the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

“The award is in recognition of  the massive rural development drives of the Governor in the provision of rural roads, rural health care facilities, construction and renovation of schools, agricultural interventions and the famous Kaura Economic Empowerment Program (KEEP), among others.”
