Bauchi Governor visits predecessor Mu’azu, commiserated with him over Nephew’s killing

Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi state has paid a sympathy visit to his predecessor, former Governor Ahmad Adamu Mu’azu over the recent killing of his Nephew by unknown gunmen in Boto Community of Tafawa Balewa local government area of the state.
It can be recall that unknown gunmen had recently invaded the home town of Ahmed Adamu Mu’azu in Boto, killing his nephew, Mu’azu Danladi and abducted three family members.
According to a press statement issued to newsmen by Lawal Muazu Bauchi,
New Media Aide to the Governor yesterday, Bala Mohammed reiterated his administration’s commitment to collaborating with security agencies to eliminate criminals and their activities.
The Governor expressed sadness over the unfortunate killing, vowing to get the perpetrators fished out and dealt with to serve as deterrent to others.
Responding, Alhaji Ahmed Adamu Mu’azu expressed gratitude to Governor Bala for the condolence and prayed to Almighty Allah to reward him abundantly.
Mu’azu also commended Governor Bala for his usual concern and commitment to fighting criminal activities, calling on stakeholders to support him in the untiring effort.
The press statement noted that Governor Bala was accompanied by top government officials and party leadership.
