Bauchi Polytechnic distributes thousands of books published by its staff

The management of Abubakar Tatari Ali Polytechnic (ATAP) Bauchi has on Thursday, distributed books published by a staff of the institution.
The publication of the books which was sponsored by Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TetFund) was distributed to some selected institutions in and around Bauchi state.
Speaking to journalists at Malam Nahauwa ASUP Secretariate of the institution, the Rector of the Polytechnic, Dr. Adamu Sa’idu said a total number of not less than 14,000 copies of the book were distributed.
According to him, the exercise was aimed at enhancing teaching and learning among students across the state.
The Rector who added that the benefiting institutions were duly selected based on their vicinity to the polytechnic and relevance to the published books, urges the beneficiaries to utilize the books judiciously.
Earlier in his welcome address, the Director Academic planning of the polytechnic, Dr. YUSUF Abarshi thanked all the guests and prayed Allah to grant them safe journey back to their destinations.
Our Corresspondent gathered that the benefiting institutions includes, Abubakar Tafawa Balewa university Bauchi (ATBU), Federal polytechnic Bauchi, college of Agric Bauchi and Federal Government Girls College (FGGC) Bauchi, as well as Government Girls College (GG) bauchi among others.
Responding on behalf of the benefiting institutions, Librarian of (ATBU) Bauchi, Dr. Basaka A. Abubakar, thanked the entire ATAP management and staff for finding them worthy for this gesture, promising to use them appropriately.
In his vote of thanks, the Registrar of the institution, Abdullahi Alhaji Adamu, appreciated the polytechnic for the successful distribution of the books.
He urged the beneficiaries to compliment the gesture by making good use of the books, as it would impact positively in the academic pursuit of the students.
