Bauchi re-appoints Dr. Rilwanu Executive Chairman SPHCDA after four years of service

Bauchi state government has re-engaged Dr. Rilwanu Mohammed as the Executive Chairman of the State Primary Health Care Development Agency (BSPHCDA).

The re-appointment of Dr. Mohammed who has served in the same capacity for four years was contained in a letter signed by the Secretary to the state government (SSG), Barrister Ibrahim Muhammad Kashim.

According to the SSG, the re-appointment of Dr. Mohammed as Executive Chairman of the Bauchi state Primary Health Care Development Agency (BSPHCDA) was approved by the state Governor, Bala Mohammed.

The reappointment was contained in a letter with Ref: GO/GS/S/POL/03/T, titled: ‘Renewal of Appointment as Executive Chairman, Bauchi State Primary Healthcare Development Agency’ (BSPHCDA) dated 30th October 2023.

“In the exercise of the powers bestowed on His Excellency, the Governor, by section 12 of the Law establishing the Bauchi State Primary Healthcare Development Agency (BSPHCDA), I am pleased to convey the approval of His Excellency, Sen. Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, CON, the Governor for the renewal of your appointment as Executive Chairman of the Agency for another four (4) year period with effect from 26th September 2023 been the date your first tenure expires”, the letter reads in parts.

The letter stated that the renewal of Dr. Mohammed’s appointment was informed by his track records of sincerity, hard-work, dedication, exemplary behaviors, wealth of experience and sense of responsibility.

The Governor expressed hope that the appointee will continue to bring the aforementioned qualities to bear in the discharge of his duties to facilitate the attainment of the government’s collective vision and goals of bringing about positive change and new lease of life to the people of Bauchi.

“The terms and conditions of your appointment are as enunciated in the relevant Government policy circulars currently in use and as may be modified from time to time,” the letter said.
