Bauchi reps member Gwalabe wants FUHSA renamed after Late Sule Katagum

Honourable Auwalu Audu Gwalabe, member representing Katagum federal constituency of Bauchi state in the Nigerian House of Representatives has sponsored a bill seeking the renaming of Federal University of Health sciences Azare (FUHSA) after the Late Sage, Sule Katagum of blessed memory.
Gwalabe who made this known while speaking with Katagum Online TV yesterday, opined that by changing the name of the federal university of health sciences Azare (FUHSA) to Sule Katagum University of Health Science Azare, the late Sage will be immortalized.
According to him, due to Sule Katagum’s immense contributions to the Development of not only Katagum local government area, Bauchi state but Nigeria in general, there is the need to immortalized him.
The Lawmaker explained that the idea behind the sponsorship of the bill was to ensure that the legacies left behind by Wazirin Katagum, Sule Katagum during his life time did not go down the drain in annals of history.
“By renaming the university after him, it will ensure that the good people of Katagum and by extension, Bauchi state and Nigeria would not forget his contributions towards Development of Katagum, Bauchi state and Nigeria at large”, he said.
The house member who expressed optimisms that the bill will soon be passed by the national assembly into law prayed that Allah continue to rest the soul of the sage in jannatul Firdausi.
While also appealing to his constituents for prayers and support to the government to foster development, Hon Gwalabe further appreciated the support and encouragement he has been enjoying from the good people’s of Katagum federal constituency.
