Bauchi, UNICEF Trained 300 Corps Members, Teachers On Nigeria Learning Passport Application

The Bauchi State Ministry of Education in collaboration with United Nation Children’s Found (UNICEF) have trained over three hundred Teachers and serving Corps Members across the state on Nigeria Learning Passport Application to improve teaching and leading in the state.

The Coordinator of development partners Ministry of Education Hajiya Sa’adatu Muhammad Usman stated this during the one day training held at Government Day Secondary School Comprehensive (GDSSC),Bauchi.

Hajiay Usman said teachers of primary and secondary school as well as serving Corp Members across the 20 local governments area of the state have selected to participate at the training aimed to ensure the students are being enrolled in to the Nigeria learning passport to enable them access quality education.

She explained that the Nigeria Learning passport platform created during the Covid-19 pandemic because of the total schools shutdown across country to reach students who have left behind.

She called on the students and parents key into the application through play store in their smart phone to enable them complete with the global learning system.

In a remarks, the UNICEF education specialist Mr Abdulrahman Ibrahim Ado, said the UNICEF has come with the initiative for learners not only the students to ease the learning through the use of passport learning platform at any where.

He commended the participants for given their time and concentration through out the period of the training.
He urged them to stepdown what they have learned to students of their respective schools.

Some of the participants spoken Abubakar Waziri from Alkaleri and Patients Samuel from Toro local government expressed their satisfaction with the training and promised to share the acknowledged acquired to their students.
