District Head of Jawo pays thank you visit to Katagum Emir

The Newly turbaned District Head of Jawo in Giade local government area of Bauchi state, Alhaji Aliyu Umar has Today Wednesday, payed a thank you visit to His Royal Highness, the Emir of Katagum, Alhaji Umar Faruq 11.

While speaking, the District Head said that the purpose of the visit was to thank the Emir for turbaning him and at the same time, seek his fatherly advice and blessings.

It can be recalled that Alhaji Aliyu Umar was recently turbaned as the District Head of Jawo by the Katagum Emir amidst mammoth crowd that gathered to witness the colorful occasion.

Receiving the District Head in his Palace, the Emir of Katagum, Umar Faruq 11, described the appointment of Alhaji Aliyu Umar as the district head of Jawo as a well deserved one.

The Emir said Alhaji Aliyu is a man of integrity who loves and respect people irrespective of their social status.

His Royal Highness who offered advises to the district head, urged him to always ensure that his cabinet are carried along.
According to the Emir, the District Head must collaborate with all the village heads within his domain to enable him succeed.

He urged the new district head to ensure proper monitoring of his domain in order to help towards curbing the menace of drug abuse and drug peddling among the youths.

The Emir who described the District Head as a law abiding citizen, added that, he is someone that respect his seniors.

He added that, it was due to his peaceful disposition and respect for people that led to his appointment as district head of Jawo.

The Emir assured him that the Bauchi state government will build a befitting palace for him in Jawo where he will settle down with his family to enable him lead his people.

Emir Umar Faruq 11 while praying Allah to guide the district head in the discharge of his responsibilities, prayed that this year’s farming season will result to bumper harvest.
