Ex-Bauchi Governor Mu’azu calls for election of credible leaders

Alhaji Ahmed Adamu Mu’azu, the former Governor of Bauchi state has appealed to Nigerians to ensure that only credible and best candidates are voted as leaders in the Saturday presidential and National assembly elections.

Mu’azu who is also the former National Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), stressed the need for a peaceful and hitch free elections.

Addressing a group of people in Bauchi metropolis on Friday, the former Governor said that Nigerians need not to afford to get it wrong this time around.

Adamu Mu’azu urged Nigerians to ensure that they voted for the best among the presidential candidates for the country to move forward.

According to him, what the country need now is someone who have the capacity and the zeal to unify the people by ensuring that Nigeria remains top priority in his agenda.

The former PDP National Chairman expressed that, Nigeria is blessed with people that can pull it out of the present situation it has found itself.

Alhaji Mu’azu who said that the general elections is an avenue to correct the mistakes of the past, noted that the ballot paper and the ballot box are the constitutional instruments for electing leaders.

The former Governor who said that the time for Campaigns are over, advised Nigerians to vote wisely so that they would not regret their actions thereafter.
