Ex-Bauchi Reps aspirant attributes Bala’s re-election victory to equitable distribution of democracy dividends

A former house of representatives aspirant under the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) for Bogoro, Dass and Tafawa Balewa federal constituency, Hon. Dr. Adamu Sulaiman Usman has attributed the recent re-election victory of Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi state to his ability to equitably distribute dividends of democracy across 20 local government areas of the state.

Hon. Dr. Adamu Usman who stated this while addressing hundreds of PDP supporters in his hometown Bundilin Dutse in Dass LGA of the state yesterday, described Bala Mohammed as one of the best Governors in the history of Bauchi state.

He pointed out that the recent re-election victory of the governor is a clear indication that the people of Bauchi state have tasted the real dividends of democracy under his administration.

Dr. Adamu Usman said that the purpose of the gathering was meant to congratulate the entire Muslims Ummah for commencing this year’s Ramadan fasting.

He enjoined them to intensify prayers for unity, peace and progress of Nigeria, especially as the newly elected leaders would be sworn into office in May 29.

Dr. Usman, who commended the leadership of the PDP in the state for working hard to ensure the victory of the governor, urged the party faithfuls to accord maximum support to their leaders.

In the areas of women and youths empowerment, Dr. Adamu Usman said, arrangements are ongoing at the grassroot levels to joined hands with the Governor and other stakeholders to come up with strategies that will reduce the rate of unemployment in the society.

Dr. Adamu while noting that the reduction of unemployment is been planned through agriculture and other skills acquisition opportunities, maintained that, such effort will help towards nation building.

He said that the Governor’s initiative through the Kaura Economic Empowerment Programme (KEEP) has contributed immensely in reducing social vices among the teaming youth in the state.

Dr. Adamu expressed optimisms that the Governor will not relent in continuing with the programme until his quest to fight poverty in the state is achieved.

Speaking on behalf of the community, Aliyu Walder Tudun Wuss who congratulated the Governor over his re-election victory, said that feat is a moral buster to all the PDP supporters in the state.

Aliyu who said there was no doubt that Governor Bala Mohammed has won the heart of the masses through various intervention, urged him to maintain the tempo.

Aliyu while commending General Yakubu Usman (Retired) for contributing to the development of Dass people in various ways, prayed Almighty God to reward him abundantly, tasking other stakeholders to emulate his legacy.
