Ex-Governor Nggilari pays condolence visit to Vice President Shettima over Step Mother’s death

Former Adamawa state Governor, Barrister Bala James Nggilari on Friday paid a condolence visit to the Nigerian Vice President, Alhaji Kashim Shettima at his Maiduguri residence over the death of his step mother, Hajiya Hauwa Kormi.
Hajiya Hauwa died on Thursday after a protracted illness.
Late Hauwa who died at the age of 69 years has since been buried according to Islamic rites.
Nggilari described the death of Hajiya Hauwa as a sad loss to the family, the community, and Borno state.
The former Governor who prayed for the repose of the soul of the deceased, also prayed that God grant the vice president and the entire family the fortitude to bear the loss.
“On behalf of myself and my immediate family, I extend my heartfelt sympathy to the Vice President and his family”, Nggilari said.
“May God in his infinite mercies continue to comfort the family and grant the deceased rest”, he prayed.
