Katagum Emir appoints Alhaji Sirajo Ibrahim as Madauchin Katagum

The Emir of Katagum Alhaji Dr Umar Faruk ll has conferred Alh Sirajo Ibrahim Tanko with the traditional title of Madauchin Katagum.

This was contain in a letter dated 9th March, 2022 as signed by Alhaji Aliyu Hussain, the Makaman Katagum on behalf of the Emirate council.

The letter explained that the appointment of Sirajo Tanko was based on his track record of achievements and contributions to the development of Katagum and the Emirate council.

The Emir who congratulated the new Madauchin Katagum, also wished him well in his new task.
