Fed University of Health Sciences Teaching Hospital Azare gets new department

Federal University of Health Sciences Teaching Hospital Azare (FUHSTHA), Bauchi state has established a New Department to augment the already existing ones.
Public Relations Officer of the Institution, Abdu Mohammed who made this known in a press statement Friday, said that the move was in continuation of FUHSTHA’s efforts to ensure good health care services.
While revealing the name of the newly established department as Community Medicine of the Federal University of Health science’s Teaching hospital Azare, FUHSTHA, called on the public to cooperate toward the running of the new section, adding that Public healthcare is the number one part of the hospital.
According to him, members of the public and staff of the hospital alike, are notified that the new department will start its services from November 2024.
The PRO said further that the new Section will continue with vaccination services and location at the old hospital (old site) while DOTS’s new hospital’s new BAMAKO hospital, gradually providing other appropriate areas under this Sectional.
“Right now, Dr. Aliyu Ibrahim Shehu was appointed as the head of the department”, the PRO disclosed.
“This is why the Administration of the hospital is calling on its staff and community to cooperate in the development of this department”, the announcement said.
