FG appoints Dr. Auwal Jibrin Acting MD Federal Medical Center Azare

Following the end of tenure of Dr. Abdullahi Ibrahim as the Medical Director of Federal Medical Center Azare, Dr. Auwal Saminu Jibrin has been appointed as his replacement in Acting capacity.

Dr. Jibrin’s appointment was contained in a later dated 30th March, 2023 as signed by the Director, Department of Hospital Services, Dr. Adebimpe Adebiyi.

“I write to convey to the approval of the Honorable Minister of state for Health, of your appointment as the Acting Medical Director of Federal Medical Center, Azare”, parts of the appointment letter stated.

It explained that the appointment of Dr. Jibrin came following the expiration of tenure of Dr. Abdullahi Ibrahim on the 2nd April, 2022.

Before his appointment as Acting MD, Dr. Jibrin was the Head, Clinical Services of the Hospital.
