Gombe LEADERSHIP Correspondent, Najib Weds A’isha In Bauchi

Friends, well-wishers, relatives and parents of both the groom and bride Friday converged at Mai Rauta Mosque near Kofar Dumi Primary School in Bauchi metropolis for the wedding fatiha of Najib Sani, the Gombe state correspondent of Leadership Newspaper.

Also at the Wedding Fatiha of Najib Sani and his newly wed groom, A’isha Mohammed Adamu were some top officials of the Bauchi state government led by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Media and Publicity, Mukhtar Gidado Mohammed, with veteran working journalists in the state led by state NUJ chairman Umar Saidu, and chairman Bauchi state Correspondent’s chapel, Mal. Ahmad Mohammed on the entourage.

The wedding fatiha of the bride and groom was administered by Sheikh Nasiru Ahmed Zubairu supported by their representatives, Alhaji Abubakar Madaki and Malam Nura Muhammad as the representative of the bride on a dowry of N100, 000 paid in liquidity.

The grand event was followed by ‘Walima’ Get Together party at the secretariat of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Bauchi State Council, Bauchi which was tumultuously graced by people from various walks of life both within and outside the state.
