Governor Bala assures timely completion of Dass-Bununu road, others

Bauchi state Governor, Bala Mohammed has assured that the ongoing road construction project linking Dass local government area with Bununu, the headquarters of Tafawa Balewa local government area is going to be completed in good time.
The Governor made this known while addressing party supporters during his re-election campaign tour in Dass Local government area of the state, weekend.
“We have speed up work on the project with the aim of completing it in good time. The other road that we are working on, from Rimin. Ziyam to Palama, to Bazali and to Dass will also be completed”, he said.
The Governor who promised to build the proposed college of education in the area, lamented that Dass is the only Emirate Council in the state that does not have tertiary institution.
While appreciating the people of the area for being loyal and supportive to his administration, Bala Mohammed called on them not to be deceived by the opposition ahead of upcoming general elections.
“Dass to me is a home coming, I wouldn’t have come for Campaigns but I have to come so that I can show appreciation and respect for you”, he said.
Bala Mohammed added, “we have met with traditional and religious leaders, youth groups and other stakeholders and party leaders, now we are meeting with you to tell you why we are seeking for second term”.
Bala who said that his administration has commenced a lot of projects, out of which some are completed while others are ongoing, assured that when given the second mandate, he will complete them and even do much more to the benefit of the citizens.
The Governor while stating that his administration has since inception in 2019 embarked on building and renovation of hospitals and schools, pleaded for additional four years tenure to enable his administration execute more developmental projects.
“We are seeking for your favour to enable us win the forthcoming election from the presidency down to state assembly, so that we can consolidate on the gains so far achieved”, the Governor said.
According to the governor, himself and his team would keep to their electioneering campaign promises if given the mandate.
Governor Bala Mohammed also pledged never to be the kind of politicians who only come back four years after winning election only to seek for another mandate.
