Governor Inuwa Yahaya Visits NSA, Malam Nuhu Ribadu
Gombe State Governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, CON and Chairman, Nothern States Governors’ Forum, paid a visit to the National Security Adviser, NSA, Malam Nuhu Ribadu in his office in Abuja on Wednesday.
Accompanied by the Federal Commissioner at the Revenue Mobilization, Allocation and Fiscal Commission, Malam Muhammad Kabir Usman Kukandaka, the Governor extended the goodwill, solidarity and best wishes of, not only the government and people of Gombe State, but the entire Northern Region.
According to statement issued by Ismaila Uba Misilli, DG media, Government House Gombe, the Governor Inuwa Yahaya commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for appointing Ribadu to man such a strategic position, especially at this critical time.
He described his appointment as a ’round peg in a round hole’, expressing confidence that as a retired police chief and pioneer Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) with sound legal, security, anti-corruption and political backgrounds, Malam Ribadu has all it takes to coordinate the activities of the security chiefs and foster inter- agency synergy to guarantee the peace and stability of the country.
