Group commends Gov Bala’s timely presentation of 2023 budget

Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi state has been commended for presenting the 2023 budget estimate to the state assembly for approval on time.
The group known as ‘Kaura Ambassadors Network’ made this known in a press statement signed and issued to newsmen in Bauchi by its Director General, Barr. Muslim Maigari on Thursday.
The Network said that the timely presentation of the budget will accord the state house of assembly adequate time to scrutinize it in the best interest of Bauchi people.
The statement which explained that the Network is into the propagation of violence-free campaigns and elections as well as Governor Bala’s re-election bid.
added that promotion of Governor Bala’s achievements is not left out in their objectives.
Barrister Muslim Maigari said apart from showcasing the achievements of the Governor, the is also canvassing for his re-election ahead 2023 general elections.
“We want to commend the Governor for the early presentation of the 2023 Budget proposal to the state house assembly yesterday Wednesday the 16th of November 2022”, they said.
“This will give the legislators ample time to scrutinize the budget proposal”, the group added.
According to them, the early presentation of the budget will allow for robust inputs by experts, policy-makers and law-makers as well as considerable adjustments to the fiscal instrument to broaden its scope and delivery capacity.
“The presentation of the 2022 budget proposal to the state house of assembly by His Excellency Bala Mohammmed before the end of the year prior to the start of the next fiscal year is laudable”, Barr. Muslim said.
The Network praised the Governor for running an all inclusive governance, noting that the leadership style has manifested in the harmonious relationship between the legislature and the executive arms of the government regardless of party differences.
It solicited for the continuous cooperation of the state Assembly towards smooth and speedy passage of the 2023 budget to enable citizenry enjoy more dividends of democracy
The Network while expressing confidence in the leadership qualities of the Governor, said that he has performed creditably well in the 2022 Fiscal year despite paucity of funds.
“As a result of his commitment in the state, the Governor is the best bait for the state in the forthcoming 2023 general elections”, the group opined.
They urged party members to close ranks and unite towards the success of the Governor in the 2023 general elections.
“We want to assure the general Public that if the Governor is re-elected for a second term, Bauchi state will witness more infrastructure, security, youth & women empowerment, among others”, the Network assured.
