Group lobby Gov. Bala to appoint ex-lawmaker Hon. Bobbo as Commissioner

Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State has been called upon to consider the immediate past member representing Chiroma Constituency in the state assembly, Honourable Bakoji Aliyu Bobbo, for appointment as Commissioner.
The group known as Wajen Misau Political Circle made the call in a press release issued to newsmen in the state on Wednesday.
Signed by Buba Sule Beti, the group observed that Honourable Bobbo will justify his worth by representing the people of Misau local government area well if appointed to serve as Commissioner in Governor Bala Mohammed’s administration.
According to the group, the idea of endorsing Bobbo was purely based on merit, saying, Hon. Bobbo is the only Politician that is always open to the common man in the area.
“We, as people who are living in remote areas, only know Bobbo as the Politician who interfaces with us; he did that by considering us before, during, and even after the 2023 general elections”, Buba Sule Beti said.
“That is why we are issuing this press statement to plead with His Excellency, Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed Kauran Bauchi, and Jagaban Katagum to appoint Bobbo as commissioner from Misau local government area”, the group said.
While stating that Misau has no better option than having Bobbo as Commissioner, the group recalled that their preferred person performed creditably well when he served as local government chairman and state assembly member.
According to the group, Bobbo, who has the habit of always keeping his doors open for interaction with everyone, has no special seating room apart from making himself available under a tree in front of his house.
“He always makes himself available to receive complaints, suggestions, and even personal complaints from the general public as a true leader”, Beti said.
Beti, who further pleaded with the Governor to solve the problem of the people of Misau by appointing Bobbo as commissioner in his cabinet, commended him for executing numerous developmental projects across the state.
“We hope that our prayers will be given consideration by His Excellency, the workaholic Governor, who works round the clock to ensure that the people of Bauchi state enjoy the real dividends of democracy “, the group stated.
They prayed to Allah to grant the Governor good health to enable him to continue the good work he has started from his first to his second tenure in office.
