Hon Bappah Misau congratulates Gov Mohammed on S’Court victory

Honourable Bappah Aliyu Misau, house of representatives member representing Misau/Dambam federal constituency has congratulated Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi state on his supreme court election litigation victory.

Bappa Misau, in a phone call with our correspondent also commended the judiciary for doing justice to the case which challenged the validity of the Governor’s victory at 18 March Guber polls.

According to, the victory of Governor Bala Mohammed against his challenger, candidate of the All Progressives Congress APC, Ambassador Sadique Baba Abubakar was highly expected.

“The victory of His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Bauchi state, Senator Bala Mohammed Abdukadir was what we expected from the court because we have legitimate votes from the good people of Bauchi state”, Hon Bappah declared.

According to him, the people of Bauchi state voted for Bala Mohammed as a result of his hard-work, Dedication, supervision and Good governance during his first tenure.

“That’s why people of Bauchi state voted him for the second term so that he could finish his strategic plans for the state”, he maintained.

“Thanks to the judiciary for the actualisation of the truth, because INEC announced senator Bala Mohammed as the winner, followed by tribunal, Appeal court and finally the supreme court”, the federal Lawmaker said.

Hon Misau called on the Governor to continue with the good work he has started, praying that Almighty Allah guide him to cross the bridge.

The member used the opportunity to on behalf of his constituency Misau/Dambam, solicit for continued support to the governor from the entire Bauchi people to move forward.

Bappah who urged the opposition party to also support the governor in his transformative agenda to move the state to the desired destination.

Bappah lamented that the opposition party only made us of constitutional provisions to distract the Governor from focussing on his people orientated administration.

“Now the game is over and we belief the Governor will continue with the good governance”, Bappah said.
