Kebbi State Government declared Monday as Public Holiday to celebrate Islamic New Year 1444

The Kebbi State Government has declared Monday 1st August, 2022 as public holiday, to celebrate the beginning of the Islamic New Year, first of Muharram, 1444 the Hijrah of Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
In a statement by the state acting Head of Service, Alhaji Sufiyanu Garba Bena, and made available to newsmen said, Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu gave approval for the public Holiday.
The statement, while wishing the Muslim Ummah happy and prosperous New Year, Atiku Bagudu, called on Muslims and Nigerians to sustain prayers for peace, security, unity, progress as well bumper harvest for this years farming season.
