Labour Party Inaugurates Committee On Diaspora

Joining the Labour Party by its Presidential candidate Mr. Peter Obi and his running mate Dr. Yusuf Datti Baba Ahmed has ignites the current political Revolution movement in Nigeria.

The momentum according to Amadichi is the first of its kind in the history of this country. The diaspora committee chairman made the remarks in his acceptance speech during inauguration of the committee Thursday.

He pointed out that 2023 General Election is a special electioneering year because it is an election that all Nigerians both home and in Diaspora are fully involved in to see the birth of a New Nigeria which positioned Peter Obi and Labour Party to lead.

He said that the Labour Party is the long awaited Third force.

“A few months ago, they said Labour Party had no structure, but today Labour Party is not only building structures nationwide in Nigeria, but also advancing its frontiers beyond the shores of Nigeria.” He added

The Diaspora Committee according to him will work tirelessly to reposition the party and build new partnership with people in the Diaspora especially in major countries of the world like the USA, UK, Canada, Germany, South Africa among others .

He stressed that “our people in the Diaspora are ever willing to identify with Labour Party and also ready to support the Party and its Presidential candidate
I want to assure Nigerians in Diaspora that come next year 2023, Labour Party will form the new government that will midwife a new Nigeria with a man of proven integrity and competence as the President.”

Amadichi said Nigerians are in need of a new Nigeria where every Nigerian can be proud to call his or her own country, a new Nigeria where everyone can be free and operate without any fear or favour.

He assured that the labour party will give Nigerians equal opportunity at home and abroad, where a party member is entitled to be here in Nigeria.

A party member in Diaspora according to him will also be entitled to the same benefits while awaiting the birth of a new Nigeria where Nigerians in the Diaspora can gladly come home to invest.
