Misau LG to spend N7 Million on electricity project – chairman

The Executive Chairman of Misau Misau local government area, Hon Salisu Hussain Hardawa has disclosed that the Council would spent over N7 million to complete the electricity connection of Waliyan Yamma Community to the national grid.

Salisu who made this known in an interview with our Correspondent yesterday, noted that the move was part of an effort to fulfill his campaign promises.

According to him, he will ensure that the ongoing project is completed to the benefit of the people of the benefitting community.

Salisu also assured good people of Waliyan Yamma that in the next 100 days the project will be completed.

He recalled that the electrification project started during Hon Ahmed Abubakar, the then chairman of the local government while he was deputizing him.

Hon Salisu also called on the people of Misau to continue to support the administration of Governor Bala Mohammed in his efforts of bringing dividends of democracy to both rural, semi urban and urban areas of the state.

The chairman appealed to the people to be patient with government, saying that more developments and welfare are coming to each and every community in the local Government area.
