Misau Model Academy wins at N’tl Institute for legislative and democracy studies Quiz Competition

The Misau Model Academy in Misau local government area of Bauchi has emerged victorious in the National Institute For Legislative and Democracy Studies quiz competition.

A press release from the Institution on Thursday stressed that the quiz competition was carried out on legislative processes and democracy, held on Thursday at the Chambers of the Bauchi State House of Assembly.

The competition featured a fierce contest among six schools, with two representatives from each of the three senatorial zones.

According to the press statement, the scorable points are 75, in which Misau Model Academy got 70 points to emerged first position while Sunshine International School 65 points.

Others are, GDSS S/Tiffi in Ningi local government area of Bauchi state scored 55 points, GDSS Ahmed Turaki Azare got 30 points, GSS Toro scored 20 points and GDSS Matsango Azare got 10 points.

The management of the Misau Model Academy while appreciating God for the victory, gave special commendation to Malam Danjuma Babaji, who accompanied the students to the venue of the quiz competition.

The management also appreciated the trainers Malam Ahmad Alao and Malam Abdussalam Y. Ahmad for their guidance and support.

Our Correspondent reports that the participating students Hauwau Sani Mohammed and Fatima Sanusi Mato displayed exceptional knowledge and skills that contributed to the academy’s success.

“We are proud to announce that Misau Model Academy has qualified for the Northeast zone competition scheduled for October 30, 2024, where we will represent Bauchi State”, the officials of the quiz disclosed.
