New Medical Director FMC Azare assumes duty on Monday

Dr. Dauda Abubakar Katagum has assumed work as the new substantive Medical Director of Federal Medical Center (FMC) Azare, Bauchi state.
This is contained in a circular signed and issued to newsmen by the Assistant Director of Administration Secretary of the center, Aminu Nakaka Jibrin on Monday.
Nakaka explained that the assumption of office of the medical director followed the recent approval of his appointment by President Muhammadu Buhari.
“Sequel to the approval of Mr. President, Federal Republic of Nigeria, the newly appointed Medial Director, Dr. Dauda Abubakar Katagum (Chief Consultant
Obstetrician and Gynaecologist), has assumed duty today, 22nd August, 2022″, he said.
According to Nakaka, the handing and taking over process was completed successfully.
“Consequently, all staff and the hospital community are please enjoined to extend
their usual cooperation, loyalty and prayers to the newly appointed Medical Director”, the circular said.
It announced that in addition, familiarisation tour of the hospital would be carried out tomorrow Tuesday, 23rd August, 2022 from 8:00am.
The circular therefore, directed that all Heads of Departments/Units
and staff are expected to be in their places of work, properly dressed to receive the
Medical Director during the tour.
Nakaka while thanking all the staff for their usual cooperation and support, prayed Allah to help the substantive Medical Director have a successful tenure of office at the center.
