NMA: National Sec applauds NMA Yobe outgoing and incoming EXCO at 2024 AGM

The National Secretary General of Nigeria Medical Association (NMA), Dr. Ben Egbo has commended the Yobe state chapter of the association for conducting a hitch free 2024 Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Yobe state .

Our Correspondent reports that the Nigeria medical association (NMA) held its annual general meeting, scientific Conference, Election and Dinner in Damaturu, capital city of Yobe state, North east Nigeria late last week.

During the occasion at Doctors house Damaturu, the national secretary general and member Yobe state chapter, Dr Ben Egbo represented the National President of the association, Prof Mohammed Bala Audu at the occasion.

A the conclusion of the elections , Dr Usman Waziri was elected as the chairman of NMA yobe for the year 2024-2026 duration.

In his speech, Dr. Egbo appreciated Yobe state branch of the association for carrying the members along in the affairs of the association.

He also appreciated the members for the massive turnout during the event, which he observed is an indication that there is cordial and harmonious relationship among the members of the NMA in Yobe state.

Dr. Egbo who is fondly referred to as “Daddy” by the members of the association in Yobe, also called on the attention of new EXCO to continue from where the former chairman and his team stopped.

He appealed to the new EXCO and the members to continue to support the administration of Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe state and the Yobe state Honourable commissioner of Health, Dr Mohammed Gana in order to continue the good works that they are doing to the health sector in the state.

The National Secretary General, expressed gratitude to those who attended the annual meeting and prayed God to grant them safe journey back to their various destinations.
