“I must equally commend you for keeping calm and organising yourselves even in the midst of heightened tension associated with maiming and killings in Jos, some of you could have been frightened and run into the bush and in the process anything could have happened; but thank God you are here to appreciate us and by implication to say Hallelujah to God”.
The Secretary to the Gombe State Government used the visit to advise the students to engage in meaningful ventures and be responsive to their parents, immediate community, the State and the country at large, especially at a time when the nation is bedeviling with teething socio-economic and security challenges.

“To say the least we were terrified with what we witnessed in Jos, as a matter of fact some students lost their lives but thank God here we are hale and hearty and our gratitude must go to God and Governor of Gombe State for evacuating us with the speed of light”.
