Rep Member Soro Disburses N50m Empowerment To Bauchi Constituents

No fewer than 4, 387 women constituents of Darazo/Ganjuwa were yesterday disbursed the sum of N50 million grant to enhance their livelihood in the federal constituency of Bauchi state.
The member representing the constituency in the Federal House of Representatives, Hon. Mansur Manu Soro while presenting the cheque for the amount, said that the gesture is geared to uplift women entrepreneurs, promote economic growth and enhance livelihoods.
Hon. Mansur Manu Soro explained that the disbursement of the money will drop in the bank account of each beneficiary, stating that some will each get N20, 000 but majority will each take home the sum of N10, 000
The lawmaker recalled that he built four health centres and two schools in two of state constituencies under the Darazo/Ganjuwa federal constituency during his first term tenure in the House, in addition to a primary school at a Bauchi/Yobe border town with a provision of free food to pupils during school days.
He also assured for the provision of a supervisory measure or step to ensure proper utilization of the economic empowerment with a view to multiply into thousands folds within a short period.
Hon. Mansur Soro expressed confidence that the empowerment will help women to realize their full potential, contribute to the local economy, and create a brighter future for themselves and their families.
Soro also opined that with continued guidance and support, the empowerment would open a new chapter of opportunity and prosperity for women entrepreneurs across the constituency, as it will serve as a catalyst for positive change and sustainable development in the communities for generations to come.
