Reps-elect, Hon Leko, thanks constituents, pledges not to take his victory for granted

The House of Representatives member-elect for Bogoro, Dass and Tafawa Balewa federal constituency, Alhaji Jafaru Gambo Leko Dull has expressed profound gratitude to his teaming supporters and the electorates for making him emerged victorious at the recent presidential and National assembly elections in Nigeria.

The Lawmaker-elect who made his gratitude known in a press statement, dedicated his victory to Almighty God and the good people of his constituency.

Alhaji Leko also thanked the Speaker of the 8th house of representatives, Rt. Hon. Yakubu Dogara for standing by his side against all odds to ensure that justice and fairness was done in the process of the election that produced him as his predecessor.

While expressing appreciation to his esteem Directors and the generality of his campaign council for playing different roles to ensure his victory, Hon. Leko assured his constituents of purposeful representation.

“I want to use this medium to show my gratitude and appreciation on this platform and all my handles, for the victory of Bogoro, Dass, Tafawa Balewa Federal Constituency in the just concluded elections”, the Reps-elect said.

Alhaji Jafaru Leko further expressed appreciation to his family for the support and the sacrifices throughout the period of contacts and campaigning which led to his emergence as the winner.

The Lawmaker-elect who said, words can not express how grateful he is to the entire people of Bogoro, Dass and Tafawa Balewa local government areas for their doggedness and resilience during the polls, said he can’t pay them but they remain so dear to his heart.

“To our Party (APC) and supporters that cut across all the political parties, I want to also say a big thank you, knowing that all of this victory is credited to you. Thank you”, Alhaji Leko added

The house of representative-elect who said he has learnt a lot from other contestants while struggling for the seat, assured that he will not take the victory for granted.

“To the generality of our constituents who stood strong with us throughout the campaigning and electioneering period, I give this trophy and victory to us all”, he said.

Hon. Leko appealed to the people of his constituency to continue to pray for God’s guidance and peaceful co-existence.

“Let us put our hands across to work together for the betterment of our Constituency. Thank you all”, he appealed.
