Sheikh Bauchi Urge Nigerians To Shun Sentiment, Sue Unity

A renowned Islamic scholar, Sheik Dahiru Bauchi has called on Nigerians to shun sentiment and continue to pray for the peace and unity of the country.
Bauchi made the call when members of The Nigeria Agenda (TNA) paid him an advocacy visit on Tuesday in Bauchi, he said peace and unity should be the watchword of Nigerians always.
He called on Nigerians to always see themselves as brothers and sisters, and eschew all forms of religious, tribal or ethnic bitterness.
Earlier, Alhaji Ahmed Sajo, who speaks on behalf of TNA, said they come to seek his blessings and advocate for the peace and unity of the country.
He said the country prays over the challenges of insecurity, state of social vices among the youth among others.
Sajo added that the main focus and concern of the group is to promote unity and peace ahead of the 2023 general elections in the country.
“We are here to let you know that we are in Bauchi state and our aim is to promote one Nigeria devoid of ethno-religious divide. We want a Nigeria where people will appreciate one another without any acrimony.”
“Also advocates for citizens to be generous, trustworthy and honest to one another,” he said.
On his part, Mr Niyi Akinsinju, chief Advocate of The Nigeria Agenda said our main concern is the political coloration of the Nigerian environment.
“We have so many violence exponents that are disturbing, people talk in different Nigerian divergent circles,” he said.
Akinsinju urged Nigerians to continue to tolerate and live in peace with one another.
